Clifford Court Lunch Program
Clifford Court is a public housing complex in Elgin, IL on 691 Clifford Court across from Clifford Owasco park. It is here we are able to serve children coming from difficult circumstances by using the prepared, nutritional meals offered by our partner Northern Illinois Food Bank as a means to also offer love and genuine friendship. The program will resume on June 10, 2013 and runs Monday through Friday 11am to 1pm, rain or shine from early-June to mid-August. During our serving sessions we distribute the meals to the children and invest in their lives in a loving, relational way by playing games and hanging out, taking walks around the nearby pond, playing some basketball or volleyball, coloring and more.
