Reaching
Our mission as a church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ. We want to ‘reach’ our neighbors and the nations with the Good News of Jesus, so that all peoples may learn how Jesus’ death on the cross then his subsequent resurrection was the ultimate turning point in history, where good overcame evil. For in choosing to die on the cross Jesus took the punishment for mankind’s sins, once for all, and in raising from the grave, Jesus showed us that he has power over death. Therefore, by believing in Jesus we may be forgiven, at peace with God, and assured of everlasting life in the age to come.
This life-changing and life-saving news is so good, that we do not want to keep it to ourselves, but to be able to pass it onto others.
One of the best ways to learn how to do this is to participate in one of our GoTeams trips, where you will be trained to make disciples, and will be able to put this into practice first hand.
