- Proverbs 30: 8b-9
This Proverb highlights the dangers of two extreme teachings on money that can interfere with our ability to follow Jesus.
At one extreme you will find people who teach that money is evil. This position teaches that living in poverty is glorified, and it is expected that you will give everything away. However, Jesus never teaches this; in fact, this Proverb teaches us that extreme poverty can lead to stealing, which is dishonoring to God.
At the other extreme is a teaching which says it is our spiritual duty to accumulate as much wealth as possible. However, Jesus never teaches this either. To the contrary, the Bible has much to say about the dangers and foolishness of pursuing extreme wealth, including the potential of having so much that we disown God and say, "Who is the Lord?"

Engaging teaching, scriptural application, Community Group discussion, and practical tools will challenge you to make a plan for your money and change your family tree forever!

Our budget coaching ministry offers one-on-one assistance to individuals or couples who desire support in creating a personalized, sustainable budget, with the goal of eliminating debt, spending wisely within their means, saving for the future, and giving back to the Lord's work. Our desire is to meet people where they are at, lovingly and without judgment, but also provide them with the encouragement, tools, and accountability needed to create and stick to personal spending plans which will help guide them to a healthy financial position, where they are free to give generously as the Lord calls.
