Baptism at Christ Community

We have special baptism celebration services three times a year, when the service includes baptisms and a time dedicated to hearing stories of how people have come to faith in Jesus Christ.

You may be wondering why we call baptism "die to live." Check out this verse from Romans 6:4 - "We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life."

The next Baptism Services will be:

St. Charles Campus: June 8th & 9th
DeKalb Campus: June 8th & 9th
Blackberry Creek Campus: June 8th
Bartlett Campus: Fall 2013. (If you attend the Bartlett Campus and want to be baptized, please attend a baptism class at the campus you would like to be baptized at for the June baptism services).


We ask everyone considering the step of baptism to attend a one-time, one-hour informational class. NO REGISTRATION NECESSARY -- just show up!  Upcoming one-time, one-hour classes, have been scheduled for:

ST. CHARLES CAMPUS BAPTISM CLASSES:

High School-Adult: 
Monday May 20th, 7 pm in Room 212

 Middle School: 
Wednesday, May 22, 6:30-8:00.
Room 302
A parent MUST ATTEND CLASS with their student.

4th/5th Grade:
In St. Charles, preparation for baptism is being done one on one rather than a group setting this time. If your 4th or 5th grader is interested in baptism, call Courtney at 630.485.3305 to begin the process.

DEKALB CAMPUS BAPTISM CLASSES:  

Middle School through Adult:
Saturday, May 18, at 6:30p in the Prayer Room in our Lobby
Sunday, May 19, at 11:00am in the Welcome Center in our Lobby
Wednesday, May 29 at 6:30pm in the Welcome Center in our Lobby

4th and 5th grades:
4th and 5th grade baptism class meeting on May 29th at 6:30pm.



BLACKBERRY CREEK CAMPUS BAPTISM CLASSES: 

Sunday, May 19th at 11:10 am (Students & Adults);
Wednesday, May 22nd at 7:00 pm (4th & 5th Graders, Students and Adults)
