"Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine." (Proverbs 3:9-10)
First-fruit gifts come right off the top of our income - before taxes, before we pay the bills, before we spend anything on ourselves. Online giving is secure and tax deductible and makes first-fruit giving convenient and simple for those who purpose in their heart to return to God a portion of what he gives us to manage. It is an opportunity to show how much we trust God and believe that he will cover all the bases in our lives if we put him first. You can use this tool for recurring giving to the general fund for your campus. You may contribute to funds that are not available online by giving to the offering during the weekend services or mailing them to our accounting office.
Worship God Through Giving
We offer a number of different ways for you to worship God through the giving of your tithes and offerings at Christ Community Church.
At all four campuses, as we worship God through the giving of our tithes and offerings, you may place your cash or check in the offering that is collected during the worship service. Please make checks payable to Christ Community Church.
You may pick up pre-addressed, postage paid envelopes at any one of our four campuses and mail your check back to the church. Please do not mail cash.
To give via ACH or credit/debit card, you may CLICK HERE to go to our online giving webpage. Here you can make a one-time gift or set up a schedule of reoccurring gifts.
With your smart phone you can download the free Secure Give app and select Christ Community Church of St. Charles IL as your home church. Once you create your account you will be able to give via credit/debit card. Please note that if you attend our Bartlett, Blackberry Creek, or DeKalb campus you will still select Christ Community Church of St. Charles IL as your home church. You will then have the opportunity to designate which of our four campuses you wish to direct your gift towards.
Secure Give Kiosk
If you find yourself without a check or cash at the worship service in St. Charles, you may still participate in worship through the giving of your tithes and offering using our Secure Give Kiosk. The kiosk allows you to give using your credit/debit card and is located in the atrium at the St. Charles Campus.
Many banks offer the ability to make payments electronically through their website. Simply login to your bank's web page and follow the instructions to set up Christ Community Church as a new payee. If you choose to give through this option, please indicate which of our four campuses you would like to designate your gift towards.
If you would like to make a gift of stock to the church, please contact the accounting office at email@example.com for more information.
Gifts by Bequest, Will, or "Living" Trust
If you would like to include Christ Community Church in your will or revocable (living) trust, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 630-485-3381 for our preferred legal bequest wording.
A Note About Credit Cards...
Occasionally we are asked why we accept credit cards at Christ Community Church. This is a very good question, and we want you to know that the decision to accept them was not made lightly.
Many people utilize credit cards in place of checks or cash, paying the balance off in full at the end of every month. For these individuals we offer the option to give via credit card. However, some people carry ongoing credit card debt which is not paid off in full at the end of the month. Christ Community Church believes that a credit card should not be used for any purpose unless you intend to pay off the balance in full each month. If you are not doing this, we strongly discourage you from choosing the credit card option, and instead we encourage you to consider our e-check (ACH) option for your tithes and offerings.
If you are currently having difficulty getting yourself out of credit card debt, we encourage you to read the following article, Stop Charging and Take Charge of Your Debt, and to contact the church to set up a meeting with one of our budget coaches. You can learn more about our Budget Coaching Ministry at our Financial Freedom webpage.
