Online Giving
"Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine." (Proverbs 3:9-10)
First Fruit Gifts
First-fruit gifts come right off the top of our income - before taxes, before we pay the bills, before we spend anything on ourselves. Online giving is secure and tax deductible and makes first-fruit giving convenient and simple for those who purpose in their heart to return to God a portion of what he gives us to manage. It is an opportunity to show how much we trust God and believe that he will cover all the bases in our lives if we put him first. You can use this tool for recurring giving to our general fund or one-time gifts to a limited number of other designated funds such as building campaigns or benevolence. You may still contribute to funds that are not available online by placing these offerings in the basket during services or mailing them to our accounting office.*
Online Giving Benefits
Faithfulness - The Bible indicates giving is to be a "first" and not a last or leftover matter in our lives. Proverbs 3:9-10 reminds us of God’s promises when we put him first. It is easy to let our standards and intentions be compromised by the pressure of expenses and billing cycles.
Convenience - Have you ever forgotten your gift, left it at home, or pledged to double it in the future? Have you fallen behind in giving because of travel and other schedule interruptions? Setting up a recurring gift is a great way to ensure your faithful and generous giving is received on a consistent basis.
Expedience - Through online giving you expedite your gift, simplify internal accounting, and strengthen our base of regular support.
Cheerful Witness - As a forerunner in this new area of online giving, you will lead the way for others to grow in their faithfulness as you plan and prioritize your giving.
