1. Marklund Home, Geneva
A residential home for those who are profoundly handicapped, Marklund enriches the lives of those with special healthcare needs by honoring the unique purpose of each individual to assist them in enjoying a full and meaningful life supported by a compassionate, nurturing environment; a strong partnership with the community; and an unmatched dedication to personal growth.
Project: For the past several years we have sent a group of volunteers to Marklund to help with their version of the Olympics, "The Summer Games". Come out and join the fun and run one of the games, help cook lunch, and/or chaperon one of the residents around to all the games and activities- there is something for everyone! Lunch will be provided as well. Please meet directly at Marklund at 9am. A map can be found here.

This could include a physical project like a home repair, landscaping, or cleaning or it could look like a car repair or baby-sitting for a day. The ideas are endless! $200 cash is available to your community group to help make your project a reality in the lives of those you are serving.
Simply have your CG leader fill out the project application form using the link below or fill out an application at the CG Info counter after services. Money can be picked up by CG Leaders after weekend services between April 20/21 and June 1. Please keep in mind, the target timeline to complete your project is between June 1-8. A confirmation email will be sent to you with details on when and where to pick up your funds. If you have additional questions check out the FAQS here.
