WEATHER INFORMATION FOR NEXT WEEK: Just wanted to let you know that we are aware that the weather will be hot hot hot next week. Here's our plan: Indoor options for outside classes Water coolers constantly filled and cold Medical team monitoring kids and volunteers We initially give the class professors the option of staying outside or coming in. The exceptions are lightning in the area, tornado warnings or if the national weather service issues a health alert for the heat. The medical team is also authorized to make the call if heat is an issue before we have anything official from the weather service. In those cases, we will make it mandatory for the classes to come in. And we have assigned shelter for all indoor and outdoor classes in the event of a tornado warning. Please know we will take the weather very seriously because we love your kids and we want everyone to have a great, safe week! KidsWorld |
Volunteering in HOT U & HOT U JR
Hot U is run mostly by volunteers. Whether you like to work with kids or administratively, we have a variety of positions (and training) to suit every passion and skill set. As you serve, free childcare (KidsZone) is provided for your kids that are not of camp age.
