What does CRAVE stand for? What does the name mean? What is the focus of the group?
When CRAVE was first named 8 years ago, it came from the words of Jesus found in Matthew 5:6:
"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled."
We want to increase our hunger and cravings for deeper relationship with Jesus and to think, speak, live our lives in ways that invite other people to do the same.
How often does CRAVE meet? Days/Times?
Our CRAVE group meets once a week. Tuesday nights, 8pm.
CRAVErs actually plan spontaneous get-togethers/events frequently. The best way to keep up with these type of events is to "LIKE" the CRAVE Facebook page for your preferred location.
Does CRAVE meet in the Summer?
You bet we do!!!
Our Summer Session is 8 weeks long. We meet on the following Tuesday nights:
June 5,12,19,26
July 3,10,17,24
The Summer Session is so important to all of our students, even those who go away to college. It's a great time to focus in on authentic relationship with Christ and peers before hitting the books in the Fall.
Where does CRAVE meet?
CRAVE has three locations:
Dekalb
This group meets at Christ Community Church- Dekalb Campus
1600 E. Lincoln Hwy [Rt. 38] Dekalb, IL 60115

Will there ever be a CRAVE location near Aurora/Blackberry Creek Campus?
We are currently looking for a point person/location to extend CRAVE to the Aurora area.
Is there any option for long distance students?
We are working on building a video library of our CRAVE messages so that you can access them even if you are away at college. This will be a great opportunity for you to study what we are studying and invite your roommates and friends to participate, too.
Check back here in the Fall.
Is CRAVE as "crazy fun" as Mosaic?
If "crazy fun" = a great time, genuine relationships, authentic discussions with peers and staff who want to love Jesus with everything they've got, then YES!!! Yes, we are as crazy fun as Mosaic!
