VOLUNTEER AT EPIC - DEKALB
Whether you prefer to work directly with kids or administratively, we have a place for you to use your gifts and talents to serve families in EPIC. You will be trained and assigned to an area that best matches your skills and that you will enjoy. We know you will be personally blessed as you serve the kids in your area. Wednesday night volunteers serve every week that EPIC meets from 6:10-8:30pm, unless indicated otherwise.
CHILD CARE
KidsZone and PreK-K programming is available for children of EPIC volunteers starting at 6pm. You must be serving all night to have your child enrolled in KidsZone or PreK-K EPIC.
- KidsZone (Nursery-3 Years) is provided free of charge
- Preschool & Kindergarten (4 Years-K) programming is provided for $15 per child
OPPORTUNITIES
Small Group Leaders
Serve directly with 1st-5th grade kids leading them through games, large group and small group. There will be at least two leaders per team. Sign up here!
Parent Helper
Assist Small Group Leaders at the beginning of EPIC (6:25-6:40pm) with listening to the kids say the memory verse. Sign up here!
Game Time Leaders
Work with the Games Team to lead kids of all groups in games each week. Sign up here!
Large Group Team
Help run our large group time with various tech needs, leading worship or teaching. Sign up here!
Preschool & Kindergarten Small Group Leaders
Help preschooler and kindergarten students learn about God and experience all the fun of EPIC in an age-appropriate way. Sign up here!
Set-Up/Clean-Up Team
Assist in setting up the activity room for EPIC games (moving partitions and portable cabinets) and/or resetting the activity room for weekend services. (This role is flexible within the week.) Sign up here!
