We spend the vast majority of our waking hours at work. It might be a paid job or a non-paid vocation, like being a student, stay-at-home parent, or retiree. These jobs are not just ways we fill time and pay our bills. God has placed us there in this season, and he has big purposes for us. He wants us to honor Christ and be a blessing to the people around us. This series will launch our big, overarching theme for the 2022-2023 ministry year, Faith at Work.
Join us this September as we learn how we can contribute to our place of employment to make the Best Workplace.
What does it mean to live well? What would it look like to live wisely? Christ Community Church will explore these questions in its fall series “Walking in Wisdom” starting on October 15 & 16. Tracking with the Bible Savvy reading schedule, this series will take us through the Old Testament wisdom literature: Proverbs, Job, Psalms, Ecclesiastes and Song of Songs. Each book offers a unique perspective on what it means to live wisely and how to apply that wisdom to our lives.
This series also includes an opportunity to hear from best-selling author Justin Early about the practices that makes us into wise and spiritually mature people on November 5 & 6.
We celebrate communion the first weekend of the month.
