Inspiring Stories with Jessica Long
She is one of America’s most decorated athletes of all time. But before that, Jessica Long was born in Siberia as Tatiana Olegovna Kirillova and was abandoned by teenage parents. Born without bones in her feet due to a congenital defect, her early life consisted of 25 surgeries including the amputation of both of her legs. Then, she started to swim.

Inspiring Stories: Tammie Jo Shults
Captain Tammie Jo Shults was one of the first female fighter pilots to serve in the United States Navy. Following active duty, she became a pilot for Southwest Airlines. On April 17, 2018, she safely landed Southwest Airlines Flight 1380 after the aircraft suffered engine failure and rapid decompression of the aircraft.
