Iglesia Bálsamo al Corazón

Iglesia Bálsamo al Corazón (BAC) is a Spanish-speaking partner church of Christ Community Church which meets in our Streamwood building for Sunday services at 1pm. They have been a part of the community for three years with Christ Community.
At the heart of BAC, they are a Christ-seeking ministry who’s goal is to help reach those in Streamwood and surrounding areas to know and have a relationship with God, mostly serving in the hispanic community. BAC truly is an Acts church, encouraging people to serve based on the needs that may be within their church body.
Like many others, they have been impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic, have have been forced to limit their serving opportunities, both in the church and in the community. However, they regularly have various places to serve within the different ministries of the church.
The economic crisis is not absent from the BAC community. Elder Isaias Rodriguez shares, “Some of our brothers and sisters have faced the loss of a job due to COVID-19 and as a whole we have been at a loss to congregate as a body in Christ.”
Please pray for this ministry so that once they are able to come back together, they will be more united, as Christ calls for in John. Seek God to watch over each of them and guide their steps as they continue to embrace the obstacles that come into each of their lives. A good prayer which resonates for each of us.
“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.”
