40 DAYS FOR 40 YEARS

CELEBRATING 40 YEARS OF GOD'S FAITHFULNESS

On December 16, 1984, Christ Community Church held it's first service in a small St. Charles movie theater. And God has been so good. Happy 40th anniversary, Christ Community!

We're celebrating February 1 through March 9 with 40 DAYS FOR 40 YEARS: A six-week teaching series on the church's legacy values AND a collection of special events across all campuses. Also watch for daily 40 Days for 40 Years social media posts, retro church merch, and other anniversary surprises!

Get in on the fun: Look for serving opportunities to help make the 40th anniversary a massive success.

LEGACY EVENT: SHAKE THE HOUSE WORSHIP NIGHT

For years, Shake the House was the well-loved, annual worship night at Christ Community. And on Sunday, March 9, it is BACK!

This one-night, all-church event will include a musical tour of worship through the decades (oh yah, those old favorites are coming out). And, just like back in the Shake the House days, a LIVE recording of a new Christ Community Worship original song.

Your $5 ticket includes: a reserved seat, light refreshments, and a studio cut of the original song. Children are welcome to worship with their families; childcare will not be available.

DETAILS: March 9 at 6pm | St. Charles/South Elgin Campus

LIMITED PODCAST SERIES

On February 1, Christ Community will release all episodes of a special podcast series featuring Senior Pastor Jim Nicodem. As Christ Community Church celebrates its 40th year, Pastor Jim Nicodem has shared a series of talks with church staff about how God has been on the move over four decades. These are not meant to be sermons or in-depth theological studies, but instead are stories and reflections from a founding pastor. The Legacy Values podcast invites you to listen in as Pastor Jim shares what has been and what will continue to be the core Legacy Values of Christ Community Church.
