How to Study the Bible | Saturday, June 8, 9am – 5pm
Location: St. Charles/South Elgin Campus
Having the right tools for the job makes all the difference. In this highly interactive, hands-on workshop, you will gain the necessary tools for studying and correctly handling the Word of God in order to give you confidence to study the Bible for yourself, engage in Bible study in a group setting, and integrate your prayer life with your Bible study. Since a large portion of the workshop is dedicated to learning how to use the tools in a good study Bible, every participant is required to bring an approved study Bible to the class, such as the NIV Study Bible. This class assumes basic knowledge of the Bible–for example, the difference between the Old and New Testament, knowing what the Gospels are, who Paul is, and the general storyline of the Bible. Someone who is brand new to the Bible should take our “What’s in the Bible?” and “How to Read the Bible” classes first.

Evangelism Training | Every 1st, 3rd & 5th Monday | 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Teacher: Frank Tokarz
Streamwood Campus
Evangelism Outreach Training is a space for Christians to develop skills and practice communicating their reasoning for Christian belief effectively. The evening consists of time to share personal stories from that week, time to practice responding to common claims or questions made against Christianity, and time to learn about a topic with a Q&A. For questions about Evangelism Training or to join, email streamwoodinfo@ccclife.org.
