CLASSES & WORKSHOPS TO HELP YOU GROW
At Christ Community Church, we offer a variety of classes to help you grow in your faith as you take your next step in your discipleship journey.
BIBLE CLASSES
Have you tried to read the Bible, but got confused or bored, so you stopped? Maybe you’re curious about the Bible, but you’re too intimidated to open it up. Maybe you’ve been to church, and they started talking about Moses or 2 Kings or the epistles, and you had no idea what they were talking about, but you were too embarrassed to ask someone about it.
Getting Started with the Bible is for you. This course begins from the basics, explaining what the Bible is, where it came from, how it’s organized, and what it contains. By the end, you'll also learn a simple approach to reading any passage of Scripture and discovering practical truths you can apply to your life. No prior knowledge of the Bible is necessary.
This online course is suitable for individual study at your own pace or in a group setting. Sign up below and a link will be sent from RightNow Media to access the content.
Having the right tools for the job makes all the difference. In this highly interactive, hands-on workshop, you will gain the necessary tools for studying and correctly handling the Word of God in order to give you confidence to study the Bible for yourself, engage in Bible study in a group setting, and integrate your prayer life with your Bible study. Since a large portion of the workshop is dedicated to learning how to use the tools in a good study Bible, every participant is required to bring an approved study Bible to the class, such as the NIV Study Bible. This class assumes basic knowledge of the Bible–for example, the difference between the Old and New Testament, knowing what the Gospels are, who Paul is, and the general storyline of the BIble. Someone who is brand new to the Bible should take our “Getting Started with the Bible” class first.
No dates for this class are currently on the calendar, but any future dates will be posted here when they are scheduled.
