Please pray for my wife, Susan.

There have been many changes at her workplace, where she has faithfully served for 20 years. She needs guidance as she searches for a new job, and it is a very different world since her last job search. The stress of her current role and the transition has caused her weight to drop and is affecting her sleep.

Please pray that she is guided to the right job, and that she stands out to the employer who is meant to see her value.

Praise for the gift of our baby girl who is due at the end of October. We are so thankful that after two miscarriage and years of infertility, God has answered our prayers and given us not only a son but this baby girl!

Please pray for her for fullness of health and God’s perfect knitting. That the fluid retention in her kidneys would completely resolve, that her bones would grow and prosper & surprise drs in the next ultrasound measurements, and for a smooth, safe delivery, and Christ centered life of love.

Pray for my niece Tammy having shoulder surgery tomorrow morning around 9:30am. (Aug. 21) Her left shoulder will not be as invasive as the right one that she injured 2 years ago! Praise God for healing and pain control!

I would like prayer for myself that I learn more about God and the Bible. Pray that I would make bible study and prayer a regular habit and I can find a consistent way to come to church.

I also pray for my son that he learns to trust and love God and that one day he will want to go to church and learn about him too.

And for my mother, as she gets older she stays healthy and that the pain she’s going through now goes away and she can feel better. I pray that one day she will want to try a community group with me at church.

Praise the Lord! Shaun was discharged from Rush yesterday afternoon! All of his vitals and things were super steady, so they allowed us to come home. However, they were not able to put his port in while he was inpatient. So, we have to go back on the 27th for that procedure, as well as chemo starting. He had another vasovagal episode, that was the diagnosis. The doctor said that these episodes can be triggered by stress, and we feel that this was stress, not knowing what to expect with the port procedure. Keep praying! We need all the warriors we can get!

I recently started a new job and it has been a true blessing in many capacities. Praise God. There are some things going on leading to high stress.
