How to Give

Simply download the app from the iOS or Android store to give quickly and safely from your phone. You can manage your giving on the app or online.

At all campuses, you can give tithes and offerings as part of worship. Please make checks payable to Christ Community Church.

Pick up pre-addressed, postage-paid envelopes at any campus and mail your check back to the church. Please do not mail cash.

Many banks offer the ability to make payments electronically through their website. Simply log in to your bank's web page and follow the instructions to set up Christ Community Church as a new payee.

When you donate your appreciated assets, you can avoid paying the capital gains tax. Additionally, if you itemize deductions, you can also take a charitable deduction for the entire donation amount.

When giving stocks or mutual funds, you will receive a tax deduction for the fair market value of your securities at the time of donation, and you will pay no capital gains tax on the difference between your cost and the fair market value.

Much like giving appreciated stock, giving real estate can have significant tax and Kingdom advantages. For example, if you bought a rental house 20 years ago and paid $50,000 for it and now it’s $150,000, you could gift that rental house and avoid the $100,000 worth of long-term capital gain. But you would still get a full fair market value charitable deduction of $150,000 for the sale of the rental house.

If you are 70.5 or older, you are eligible to make an IRA contribution that benefits you and helps Christ Community Church make passionate disciples of Jesus Christ. These gifts are tax-free, regardless of whether or not you itemize deductions on your tax return.

For individuals 73 and older who need to fulfill a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) this year — an IRA gift can help meet this requirement and help you avoid a hefty tax penalty at the same time.

There are several types of gifts that fall under this category. Many of these gifts are very simple to make.

Life Insurance - you can simply name Christ Community Church as a beneficiary.

Retirement Assets - you can name Christ Community Church as a beneficiary of your IRA, 401(k), or other qualified retirement plan. Any amounts remaining in your plan will transfer to Christ Community Church free of income and estate tax.

Bequests - you can name Christ Community Church in your will as a beneficiary and your estate will receive an income tax deduction for the value of your request. A bequest written in a will can be made for either a percentage or amount.
