Rooted is our church's 10-week, group-based experience that will help you develop Christ-centered rhythms to deepen your connection with God, the church, and your purpose. Each week of Rooted focuses on topics and rhythms essential to living as a disciple of Jesus. You will learn about God and prayer, suffering and repentance, serving and generous living, sharing your story and worship, all through the lens of God's Word.
Our fall Rooted session is on Thursdays at 6:30–8:30pm from September 10–November 12 at Christ Community Church's Huntley Campus. Low-cost childcare is available.

NEXT DEDICATION SEPTEMBER 27
Child dedication is a commitment between parents and the church that each will do their part to see the child discover and fulfill God’s unique purpose for his or her life.
Our next Child Dedication weekend will be September 27. Parents interested in dedicating their child should submit an application for your campus on the website. Click below to find the application and FAQs.
4TH & 5TH GRADE EVENT!
SuperStart is a high-energy, Gospel-centered weekend experience designed to help 4th and 5th-grade students grow in their faith, build lasting friendships, and understand their identity in Christ. It will be hosted at Community Christian Church in Naperville in the evening of Friday, March 5, and the morning of Saturday, March 6, 2027. Buses will take us to the event both days. (This is NOT an overnight event.)
NOTE: The registration date is September 30 so that we can reserve spots for Christ Community's group.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT IS STUDENT NIGHT!
At the Huntley Campus, our students come together during the school year on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:15 from August 26, 2026 - May 5, 2027. Students are assigned to a consistent small group and leader their first night, where they will be with the same students, organized by age & gender, each week. Friends and new students are always welcome. Most weeks consist of time for socializing, teaching, worship, small group discussions, games, and snacks.
OVERNIGHT MIDDLE SCHOOL EVENT | OCTOBER 2 & 3
One night. Big games. Epic competition. Worship. Food. And a whole lot of fun! Surge is an overnight event for our Middle School students happening October 2-3 at the Aurora Campus. This year, we're diving into what it means to belong by remembering we are not alone, building real friendships, and living as brothers and sisters in Christ!
Come ready to play hard, laugh a lot, worship together, and learn together!

WEEKEND SERVICES WITH KID K
On October 17 & 18, Christ Community welcomes Cubs great Kerry Wood to weekend services as the 2026 Inspiring Stories interview guest. This special weekend will include three identical, in-person interviews with Kerry Wood at the St. Charles/South Elgin Campus and broadcast live to Christ Community campuses in Aurora, DeKalb, Huntley, Joliet, and Streamwood. He will share reflections on his incredible 14-year major league career, his recent outing with the Savannah Bananas, and the growing role of faith in his life since stepping off the diamond.
Inspiring Stories interviews are part of regular Christ Community Church weekend services, which are always open and free to all. There will be no autograph sessions or meet and greets.

HIGH SCHOOL WISCONSIN RETREAT

This year's topic: Fear has a way of keeping you on the sidelines. But Jesus faced every one of our fears and never flinched, and he's calling you to live the same way.
FALL WOMEN'S GROUPS
There are some great women's groups starting up at the Huntley Campus this fall. A variety of groups will be meeting on Tuesday mornings at 10 am beginning September 8, and on Tuesday evenings from 6:00–7:30 p.m. beginning September 15.
We will study God's word together and discover how to apply it to our daily lives.

Men are invited to the Huntley Campus for great food, time in Scripture, and a community of men seeking God together on the second Saturday of each month, 7:30-9am.
