NEW TO THE CHURCH? NEW TO FAITH? NEEDING COMMUNITY?
Rooted is our church's 10-week, group-based experience that will help you develop Christ-centered rhythms to deepen your connection with God, the church, and your purpose. Each week of Rooted focuses on topics and rhythms essential to living as a disciple of Jesus. You will learn about God and prayer, suffering and repentance, serving and generous living, sharing your story and worship, all through the lens of God's Word.
Our fall Rooted session is on Thursdays at 6:30–8:30pm from September 10–November 12 at Christ Community Church's Huntley Campus. Low-cost childcare is available.
NEXT BAPTISM CELEBRATION AUGUST 30
Baptism is a celebration. It is an opportunity to follow Jesus’ example and teaching by publicly proclaiming our identification with him. By being baptized, we announce that Jesus has washed away our sin and has given us new life.
Prior to baptism, participants must attend a one-hour class designed to share the biblical and practical purposes of baptism, to help you discover if baptism is the right step for you.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety or depression, seeking ways to strengthen your marriage, walking through grief, overcoming addiction, or simply want a safe space to grow in Christ, Care Night offers a wide variety of groups designed to meet you where you are.
The fall session begins Tuesday, September 14 (6:30-8:30pm).

Parents are encouraged to stop by during open office hours on Thursdays in August to chat over a coffee with Next Gen Pastor Steve "Coach" Gallaher. NEXT DEDICATION SEPTEMBER 27
Child dedication is a commitment between parents and the church that each will do their part to see the child discover and fulfill God’s unique purpose for his or her life.
Our next Child Dedication weekend will be September 27. Parents interested in dedicating their child should submit an application for your campus on the website. Click below to find the application and FAQs.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT PROGRAMS RETURN AUGUST 26
At the Huntley Campus, our students come together during the school year on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:15 from August 26, 2026 - May 5, 2027. Students are assigned to a consistent small group and leader their first night, where they will be with the same students, organized by age & gender, each week. Friends and new students are always welcome. Most weeks consist of time for socializing, teaching, worship, small group discussions, games, and snacks.
OVERCOMING THE LONELINESS OF LEADERSHIP
Leadership can be isolating. Your challenges feel too specific for anyone else to understand, and people hesitate to bring you problems because "you're the boss." You crave real community — you're just not sure where to find it.
Join us for a panel discussion on facing the isolation of leadership, and how to build a community of support and guidance around you.

FALL WOMEN'S GROUPS
There are some great women's groups starting up at the Huntley Campus this fall. A variety of groups will be meeting on Tuesday mornings at 10 am beginning September 8, and on Tuesday evenings from 6:00–7:30 p.m. beginning September 15.
We will study God's word together and discover how to apply it to our daily lives.
