GATHERING OFF-SITE AUGUST 16 & 23
We are excited about the construction happening at our campus, and can't wait to see what God does with our new space!
Due to the construction, we will gather for weekend services at the Clarion Hotel (411 S. Larkin Ave., Joliet) on August 16 and 23 (10am). This is a fun opportunity to invite someone to church. Let's fill the room and continue to share the hope of Jesus with our community.
NEW TO THE CHURCH? NEW TO FAITH? NEEDING COMMUNITY?
Rooted is our church's 10-week, group-based experience that will help you develop Christ-centered rhythms to deepen your connection with God, the church, and your purpose. Each week of Rooted focuses on topics and rhythms essential to living as a disciple of Jesus. You will learn about God and prayer, suffering and repentance, serving and generous living, sharing your story and worship, all through the lens of God's Word.
Our fall Rooted session is on Tuesdays at 6-7:30pm from September 8–November 10 at Christ Community Church's Aurora Campus.

Whether you’re walking through grief or overcoming addiction, Care Night offers groups designed to meet you where you are.
The fall session begins Tuesday, September 8 (6:30-8:30pm).
NEXT DEDICATION SEPTEMBER 27
Child dedication is a commitment between parents and the church that each will do their part to see the child discover and fulfill God’s unique purpose for his or her life.
Our next Child Dedication weekend will be September 27. Parents interested in dedicating their child should submit an application for your campus on the website. Click below to find the application and FAQs.

POP-UP FOOD PANTRY
Help us get the word out! We are partnering with a local food pantry to offer free food at a pop-up market at our campus on August 29, September 19, and October 17, 9-11am. Pick up some invite cards to share with the community, and volunteer to serve at the events.
FOOD TRUCK SATURDAYS
This September, we will be hanging out in different Joliet neighborhoods--and we're bringing a food truck! Join us each Saturday in September, 11am-1pm, for free food and great conversations as we share the love of Jesus with our community.

Christ Community offers a collection of videos and reading assignments that equips people to thrive as followers of Jesus in this local congregation. Taking this course is how people become official members here at Christ Community.
This online membership class is on-demand and can be started at any time. You can start, stop, and pick back up where you left off at your convenience. You’ll get to ask questions along the way and you’ll connect with a pastor for a one-on-one conversation at the end of the course.
NEW TO BIBLE READING?
Have you tried to read the Bible, but got confused or bored, so you stopped? Maybe you’re curious about the Bible, but you’re too intimidated to open it up. Maybe you’ve been to church, and they started talking about Moses or 2 Kings or the epistles, and you had no idea what they were talking about, but you were too embarrassed to ask someone about it.
Getting Started with the Bible is for you. This course begins from the basics, explaining what the Bible is, where it came from, how it’s organized, and what it contains. By the end, you'll also learn a simple approach to reading any passage of Scripture and discovering practical truths you can apply to your life. No prior knowledge of the Bible is necessary.
This online course is available on YouTube and suitable for individual study at your own pace or in a group setting.
