Back to Basics: Biblical Manhood

Date: October 7, 2023
Time: 8-10 am
Location: DeKalb Campus

Over the last couple of years, it has become more apparent that the world/society has become even more discontent with the traditional roles of both men and women in society. Specifically for men, being a man now has multiple meanings, and the challenge of acceptance of our roles is under extreme scrutiny. So, what does God say about this? Who are we? What are we called to? What does God want us to become? How do we stand alone in the face of adversity? How do we stand together? How do we fortify ourselves in unity?

Why Join a Men's Group?

Friendship. Encouragement. Confidentiality. Bible study that is relevant and applicable for your life. Opportunities to serve and encourage others. In a Men's Community Group, you will find other men who are studying God's Word: men who will walk beside you (whatever life circumstances you face) and who will challenge and encourage you to be the man, husband and father God has called you to be.

CHRIST COMMUNITY SPORTS

Christ Community hopes to provide adult sports opportunities (both seasonal and year-round) that are different from what you’d find at a park district or recreational department.

Childcare Reimbursement

We know it can be a challenge to provide care for your children so you can attend your Community Group meeting, so we want to come alongside you to help offset the cost.
