WEDNESDAY NIGHTS
At the Streamwood Campus, we gather our middle and high school students together during the school year on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:15pm, from August 26, 2026 - May 5, 2027. There is no pre-registration required. Students are assigned to a consistent community group their first night where they will be with the same small group of kids organized by age & gender, and the same leaders each week. Friends and new students are always welcome. Most weeks consist of time to simply hang out, teaching and worship, community group discussions, games and snacks.
FIRST WEDNESDAYS! The first Wednesday of every month is First Wednesday at Refuge! These nights take everything we love about Refuge and add something extra—food, themed activities, games, giveaways, and plenty of opportunities to have fun together. First Wednesdays are designed to be an easy night for students to invite a friend, especially someone who has never been to Refuge before. Every month has a new theme, but our goal stays the same: create a fun, welcoming environment where students can build friendships, find a place to belong, and encounter Jesus. Refuge meets Wednesdays from 6:30–8:15 PM, and everyone is welcome!
