My sister’s husband, Mike, passed on Easter Saturday. She just flew home today and is quite overwhelmed but doing fairly well. You have all been so wonderful with your prayers and I appreciate each and every one of you who prays. I ask that you continue to pray for my sister Melissa to get through this. Please pray for my good friend who suffered a concussion 3+ weeks ago and is still dealing with waves of headaches and occasional nausea. It is effecting his eyes(sharp pain sometimes) and ability to focus on tasks he needs to do.. Asking our Heavenly Father to relieve the pain and the stress and heal him completely soon!

First steps in answered prayer

On March 30th, I asked for prayer that my 85-year old parents would be reunited in assisted living and that God would bring wisdom and clarity to my dad about selling their house and giving up his car.

This weekend my sister and I are going to Wisconsin to start moving Mom from a studio to a one-bedroom in assisted living! Please continue praying for my Dad, as we work through some plans to help with his car this weekend.

My father-in-law, Joseph, from Christ Community Church DeKalb, fell around 4 PM yesterday hitting the back of his head on a cement planter. He has a brain bleed and a broken neck. We called 911 and he was taken to the hospital where he was transported to a medical center for emergency surgery. We ask for prayer for the surgical team, healing hand on Joe and for his wife Lois and the family. Thank you.

Jennifer

I’m asking for prayers for my son. He’s worked so hard to make a hockey team, and it’s not looking like it’s going to happen. It’s been heartbreaking watching his dream and love for the game feel like it’s slipping away.

I’m especially worried about his heart and how to help him through this without losing his passion for something he’s loved for 11 years. Hockey has been incredibly healing for him—he was diagnosed with motor tics and sensory processing disorder at age 4, and the ice has been the most therapeutic place for him to ground himself.

I’m praying for a miracle in the next 24 hours—that he’ll receive an email inviting him to join the team.

Please pray I do not have breast cancer. I have to have a biopsy of 2 spots on my left side and I’m trying not to be worried and trust God but I’m also so scared. My biopsy isn’t until 4/27. Please pray there is nothing wrong and God will calm my fears and make everything ok. Thank you.

I will be 28 this summer and God has always put the desire on my heart to be married and find my person. I live alone and can often feel lonely. My close friends are either married and have kids or are in a relationship and won’t go out like someone who is single would. The weekends are hard because I don’t know how to spend my time. Hey Church,

My dad, Dave, has been in the hospital for a week now. He has idiopathic encephalopathy, which is just medical talk for brain swelling with an unknown cause. He’s very forgetful, has limited short term memory now, gets scared when he becomes aware that he’s forgetful and this all happened quickly. The medical team has no idea the cause of it yet and we’re waiting on his lab results to come back to hopefully get more answers. We need prayer for his healing and for answers to what is happening in his body. We need prayer for patience, strength, peace and comfort all from the Lord to keep my dad, my family and myself okay. Thank you to who ever reads this and is praying!
