Need urgent prayers for my sister-in-law, Janet. She had brain surgery 2 weeks ago and recently had some leaking which put her back in the hospital. Since being admitted, she has contracted meningitis. The doctors have ran tests on her spinal fluid and feel confident that they can treat it with antibiotics but we need prayer that the treatments work quickly.

Please lift up my husband Shaun, as he will be admitted today to the hospital, for his second round of treatments for his cancer. This weekend will be tough for us. I can’t stay with him like I was able to last time, so this is going to be hard. He’s also going to be missing our daughter’s volleyball tournament, something that has never happened before. Please pray that he responds well to these treatments, and pray that God will just take all of it away. Pray for our daughter Cailin and I as well, as we navigate a weekend without Shaun. Also, please pray for a financial miracle. Medical bills just keep coming in!

Please pray that we will have the right words to use and that we have patience and understanding with any of his responses. I am comforted that Christ will be “holding my hand” throughout the visit, but my non-believing wife will not have this support.

I pray that God will remove the negative friends in my daughter’s life and instead bring godly friends that will bring her closer to Jesus. I pray for reconciliation between us and that God can heal our relationship. The choices she has made scare me and I pray God will never stop fighting for her.

Last week I received discouraging news from my oncologist. My kidneys are functioning below normal and my potassium levels are extremely low, causing my heart to fail to pump blood the way it should. Very low potassium causes chest pain, dizziness, and heart palpitations. My M proteins and light chain levels have both jumped, indicating progression into the next phase of Multiple Myeloma. We will do more bloodwork in 3 weeks, and I will see my doctor again to discuss the results. Please pray for me to keep trusting in God and that he receives all the glory from this. Please pray for his will to be done and my strength to follow him faithfully. Thank you for all of your faithful prayers.
