Hello everyone. I have a very rare neurological autoimmune disorder that causes swelling in my brain, which results primarily in cognitive issues and psychiatric symptoms, among other physical symptoms, and I am in the midst of what is called a reoccurence.

I am still waiting for my insurance to approve the infusions to treat this, and it is fairly unpleasant. If people could please pray that this all goes through really quickly so I can go back to functioning normally, it would mean the world to me.

Last year I posted a prayer request about finding a job post undergrad and graduate school. I saw the elders after service and had my fair share of tears shed. With due time, the Lord provided. He is so good.

Flash forward and I now have a job that I love and allows me flexibility. However, first jobs tend to be lower in pay. Not even one month later, I got offered the opportunity to apply for a promotion. Again, He is so good.

I have been stressed about this opportunity because I am scared to mess it up. I want to ask for prayers for confidence and knowledge, as well as faith in the Lord. Knowing that He will provide and He will be with me through the process.

Lorre

A biological mother recently passed away. While things may appear okay on the surface, I’m really struggling more than when my dad passed away 11 years ago. I left CA 42 years ago and she never got over her anger at me leaving. We did not have a good relationship for our entire adult life. God softened my heart and I forgave her and tried to have a relationship. I am grieving at the fact that I never had my mother more than anything. Thank you for supporting me through this with prayer.

I am going through numbness and tingling in both hands. I have gone to the Doctor for a EMG test and I found out I have carpal tunnel. I have gotten Cortisone shots about 4 weeks ago. They lasted about 3 weeks and now I have the symptoms back. I do wear wrist braces at night and do nerve gliding exercises daily. I have a call into my doctor to find out if I can get another Cortisone injection, or is surgery my next step.

After sitting in church and listening to the sermon it hit home to me. But it’s so hard to make these changes without the support of my family. So many hardships I have been through, and it was my faith that pulled me through….it gets weary to keep fighting for my family to see all the good and to have more love, patience and forgiveness. I have a job opportunity that I would usually have jumped on, but I am pregnant and worried about switching jobs during a pregnancy/coming back to a new job after maternity leave. I trust that God will give me what I need for my family but am feeling unsure of taking an opportunity or staying put. I’m looking for guidance and peace over the situation
