I have been reading the Bible and praying a lot more, recently, and have been feeling a definite spiritual uptrend – praising God. However, I have also been experiencing an extreme increase in spiritual attacks since then, too. Pray that I can escape my sinful vices and truly follow Jesus. I am also searching for a new job and possibly entering a career shift. Please pray that God would go before me and lead me to a job where He wants me to be. Pray He would protect me from poor decisions, and to remember to trust Him and His direction.

I received a call from one of our members in my men’s group Wayne, he called me and let me know that he was admitted to the hospital last night. He’s struggling with gastrointestinal issues. He is a gentleman that takes care of Gregory, that is wheelchair bound for the rest of his life.

Please keep him in our prayers and that he gets speedy recovery as he is a faithful servant of God

Pray of Thanksgiving: A month ago I had complete hearing loss in my left ear. A virus had attacked the nerve connecting my ear to my brain. At that time, I posted for prayer on the prayer wall.

I’ve just met with the audiologist and ENT doctor. My hearing is fully restored! There is no need for additional treatment. Both the audiologist and ENT doctor were very happy with the results. The ENT doctor agreed that this was a true miracle. She said she was grateful for such a positive outcome, because they have recently not had very positive outcomes for other patients. Thank you for praying and thank God for miraculous healing!

On July 23, Shaun and I went to Rush to talk to his oncologist about the results of his latest PET scan after completing 4 cycles of tough chemo treatments. Unfortunately, we got some bad news. The cancer is progressing. The chemo didn’t do its job. We are reeling with this news. We really thought the chemo was doing its job. Next up is immunotherapy. Thankfully it doesn’t seem like he will be admitted for these treatments. It’s going to be a lot of back and forth driving from home to Chicago. Please pray for us, as this was not the news we were hoping for. Thank you.
