Update on my friend’s daughter, Janel. She had a pet scan, and doctor said she is “95% clear” of the cancer. There is a small spot under her arm, which they will watch. She is still undergoing chemo, but July 1st may be her last round. Thank you for your prayers! Please continue asking our Lord for complete healing of this cancer.

My neighbor was pregnant with a healthy baby boy and went to deliver. She pushed for two hours and then the doctor used a suction to aid in his delivery. And he was born with a brain bleed now and needs a miracle. They have him on a cooling bed and hope to warm him up starting tomorrow and will do an MRI on Monday for brain activity. Please pray for this young family.

I went to my baby’s first ultrasound appointment, and our baby should be 9 weeks, but was measuring 6 weeks and they couldn’t find a heartbeat. The doctor said they couldn’t say for certain it was a loss I have to wait until Tuesday to see if the baby grew and has a heartbeat. I am just asking for strength for us in what we are going through. And clarify for the Doctor to be able to see a heartbeat or not I know God has a plan regardless. Thank you for prayers

Faithful prayer partners, thank you for your prayers. They do make a difference and have for my wife Pam, myself and many others.
I ask that you share the prayer requests you are reading today with someone else that can be blessed by thinking of others and their needs.
This sharing could result in others seeing that their own challenges are opportunities to ask for prayer but also perspective on how blessed we can be NOT to be in “someone else’s shoes”.
Our world is hurting, and caring about others in prayer and in daily interaction can make a real difference. Jesus matters, prayer matters, YOU matter!

Well, tomorrow Shaun and I head back to Chicago for blood work, an appointment with his oncologist, and then he will be admitted for his 4th cycle of chemo. We are hoping this is the last round of chemo. Please pray. Pray that Shaun’s appetite won’t be affected, pray he will be able to sleep at night, pray that the chemo has done its job, pray for the unknown of “what’s next.” This journey has been incredibly hard. But we know that God has it all under control, and we know that He is the Great Physician. We are praying fervently that He will just take all the cancer away, as well as the blood clots that have formed. Pray that the blood thinner medication has done its job as well! Please keep our family lifted up!
