I am currently 24 weeks pregnant and fell on Saturday while holding my 18 month old daughter, Eleanor. In order to protect my baby in my arms and in my womb, my left foot and right ankle took a bad hit. I had my right ankle relocated on Saturday night and learned that I would also need surgery to fix a tri-mal fracture. I broke my pinky bone on my left foot as well. Both of my babies were protected in the fall – Praise the Lord!

I had a successful surgery this morning on my right ankle where they put in 15-20 screws and 2 plates to fix the fractures. My baby in the womb has been doing great!

I will have a cast on my right ankle and boot on my left foot for 6+ weeks. I currently stay at home with my 18 month old daughter.

Please pray for a smooth recovery and that my daughter will be well taken care of during it all.

I have an updated prayer request for my friend, Mallory, who was 20 weeks pregnant and potentially had HELLP syndrome. She was confirmed to have the syndrome early yesterday and delivered her sweet baby girl, Ruby Ann, into the arms of Jesus this morning- Monday, November 24. She was able to hold her Ruby, which brought beauty and devastation.

Mallory’s lab results are still going in the wrong direction even after delivering, which is very scary. Please pray for wisdom and guidance for the doctors to know how to treat her. Please pray that the Lord would heal her body and protect her life.
