Prayer needed for my 20-year-old son, who has struggled with social anxiety since he was little. He started taking medication and seems to feel less anxiety in his chest. He still needs to be able to leave the house, attend service with us, and get a job. I’m asking God for rumination to cease and freedom from fear of being judged. Thank you.

From my Aunt: Please pray for Ruby Velez who was rushed to the ER then transferred to a mental health facility. Ruby’s mom, Heather, took her to the ER and also has emotional issues and doesn’t have the ability to care for herself and her daughter. Grandmother, Peg, and Ruby’s other mom, Vanessa are also experiencing stress over the entire situation. My aunt asked for “a prayer for lifting or clearing the situation.”

Jane

Tomorrow, December 10th, is my sister Lynn’s second major surgery for oral cancer. Please pray for:

– All surgeons and caregivers to be at the top of their game – well rested, not distracted, healthy

– No cancer in the jaw bone requiring bone graft (surgeon says this is likely but will know during the surgery)

– No complications, especially no further nerve damage

– Healing of all wounds including graft harvest sites

– No further impediment to her speaking and swallowing ability

– Lynn to feel the closeness of her Lord at all times

– Husband Tom, the primary caregiver once she is home – encouragement and stamina

– Safe travel to Columbus, OH from Dayton, OH for surgery and follow-up visits; safe travel for visitors

– Cancer eradicated once and for all

– However the Holy Spirit leads you to pray

My sister has had numerous major medical issues and surgeries over her life, and God has been faithful. He will continue to be. Thank you, Prayer Warriors!

Please pray for 3 month old baby Tessa who passed away from SIDS during the night on Saturday. Friends of our family, and are so heartbroken. Prayers that Gods love will help them through this difficult time, and that Tessa is safe in the arms of Jesus.
