My grandfather is in his final hours, and one of the hardest parts is not knowing where he stood in his faith. After my grandmother passed, a pastor prayed with him about accepting Christ and he said yes, but not long after, dementia took much of his memory and recognition.
Now he is no longer conscious. I’ve been sitting with him, praying, asking God for repentance, mercy, and that he would be accepted into His kingdom, trusting that God knows his heart even when I cannot. Please pray with me for him.

Please pray for Andrew who is retaining fluids and the doctors can’t figure out why. Please pray that the doctors can figure out what’s going on and for healing.

Please pray for my neighbor, Dalila. A former Muslim, now atheist. Multiple health issues. She needs the peace and love of Jesus. Please pray for her salvation, that God will open her heart and mind to the gospel, and that He guides me in my relationship with her. He provided this open door, and I need His wisdom and leading. Thank you.

Please pray for my dear friend’s son. He needs a cure for a rare diagnosis that has effected his facial skin. He has been dealing with this for over 20 years. He now has to make a decision to give himself injections that can cause serious side effects. So far there is no cure. Please pray that he makes the right decision regarding this treatment and that God leads him to a satisfactory outcome.

Please pray for my nephew, Makana. He just had successful open heart surgery and was recovering at home but then he had horrible pain, which they discovered was a pulmonary embolism. He’s back in the hospital in the ICU.
Please pray he will make a full recovery, the pain will subside and for God’s loving grace to heal him. Please pray the pathology will give answers and doctors will have the wisdom to formulate a plan going forward to keep him healthy.
Thank you so much and many blessings to you this Easter!

PRAISE GOD!!! I just spoke with the surgeon and he said that Shaun did really well during surgery! They were able to get the cancerous nodule out of his lung, and also took a couple of small nodules that he thought were just scarring, but he wanted to get rid of them, just to be safe. God is good. He still doesn’t think the 2 cancers are related, but pathology will tell us that. Now we will wait and pivot to care for his other cancer, and then the nodule on his right lung.

Please pray for Shaun and I as we travel back to Chicago this morning to Rush University. His bronchoscopy that he had came back as lung cancer. This is on top of the other cancer that was diagnosed in February. These cancers are not related, and the chief of thoracic surgery will be doing the surgery and is confident that this is “100% treatable stuff.” Shaun will be having surgery to remove the nodule on his left lung. Once this is taken care of, hopefully chemo for the other cancer can start. We are just praying that what the doctors are saying is all true. And that God will intervene and just take all the cancer out of Shaun’s body. Pray for our daughter Cailin as well. This has been incredibly overwhelming for all of us.

Update on my cousin Nathanael. He is not tolerating breathing on his own. They tried to get him off the ventilator and he went into cardiac arrest. He is only 16 years old. Please pray for him that God breaths air into his lungs and gives him more years on this beautiful earth. Thank you everyone for your support.

Please pray for my friend, Laura. Her daughter is being treated for cancer; the daughter’s mother in law has had a major stroke at 76 years old; daughter’s father in law was being treated for sciatica, but doctors have now discovered it’s actually a tumor on his spine. Please pray for this family. That God will give them His peace and strength. That the doctors would have His wisdom. That surgeries, treatments, and PT will be successful, and they will feel the wonderful love of God surrounding them.

Please pray for my cousin, Heather. She has experienced years of pain without help and correct diagnoses from doctors. She has found a functional doctor to now work with, but is overwhelmed with going through all of her medical records. In addition, she has an upcoming surgery on April 24. I’m asking God for complete healing, removal of pain, peace and rest, and that this new doctor will finally be able to help her. Please pray as you feel led.
