Christ Community Church’s Care Ministry’s mission is to offer hope through biblical truth, psychological wisdom, and authentic community.
WHAT IS CARE MINISTRY?
We see people holistically, recognizing their need for practical psychological insight, healing through genuine connection, and, most of all, biblical truth. We offer care in many different ways and invite you to either take a step toward the support you need or join us in serving others.

CARE NIGHT
Care Night is a collection of groups on multiple Christ Community campuses that offers real care and real help right here at Christ Community. Care Night groups meet for 12-week sessions with breaks in between; host campuses have different offerings.

FINDING HOPE IN ANXIETY & DEPRESSION (MEN)
Living with depression and anxiety can be overwhelming. Balancing the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects can leave us feeling frustrated and confused. The good news? You're not alone. This is where you find support, encouragement, and understanding. There are so many worries in today's world. How will I avoid getting sick? What if I lose my job? How will I get everything done? Am I doing things right? Am I truly enough? Did I mess up my kids? Our negative thoughts begin to impact all areas of our lives. Come learn with other women how to draw strength from God's faithfulness and believe in what our mighty God can do in our lives. What if you could integrate the story of God into everyday family routines? In the midst of busy schedules and the challenges of intentional parenting, this group equips parents, grandparents, and guardians with simple, practical rhythms and meaningful habits to naturally weave God's story into your family's daily life. Strong marriages don't happen by accident. Join other women as we explore biblical principles and practical tools to strengthen connection, deepen intimacy, and pursue God's design for marriage. This group provides a safe space to discuss sensitive topics, replace lies with God's truth, identify counterfeit intimacy, experience healing from your past, and find the freedom to fully embrace the beauty and holiness of intimacy in your marriage. | Registration: $20Additional Care Night groups for the fall will be announced soon!

This group is a place to explore what Scripture says about anxiety and depression, and the God who is always with you and always working for your good. Together, we’ll learn how to embrace our struggles with honesty and faith, discover a joy and resilience that doesn’t depend on circumstances, better recognize the triggers that leave us feeling stuck or overwhelmed, and build a strong, supportive community to walk with us through the hard seasons and help us keep going when setbacks come.

Hurried, pressured, spread thin, or just wondering how spiritual and emotional health can even exit with all you're facing? Join us this Care Night session! This group intentionally focuses on spiritual health and emotional wellness by exploring Scripture's teaching and time-tested spiritual practices like Sabbath, silence, and simplicity. These practices help us not only grow in faith but also find healing from hurry, burnout, and disconnection. Come learn to live with greater peace, purpose, and presence as we learn to walk in the way of Jesus— together.

Whether your relationship needs a little refresh or feels like it’s starting from scratch, ReEngage offers a safe and supportive space to reconnect. Through real conversations, biblical wisdom, and community with other couples, you’ll be guided toward greater health, deeper intimacy, and renewed commitment. No matter where you are, there’s hope—and a path forward.

This group is offered for anyone who wants freedom from the things that can begin to control our lives—whether that’s alcohol, drugs, food, gambling, anger, jealousy, relationships, or any other struggle you may be facing. Addiction and unhealthy patterns show up in many forms, and no matter what you’re walking through, you are not alone, and there is hope for change. In this group, we use The Life Recovery Bible, which points to God as the ultimate source of healing and recovery. Along the way, you’ll experience the power of grace through honest conversation, shared stories, and the support that comes from listening to and walking alongside others on a similar journey.

Being a single mom can be both rewarding and challenging, and the journey is not one you were meant to walk alone. This support group provides a safe, welcoming community where single moms can share their experiences, encourage one another, and receive practical support. Through meaningful connection, biblical encouragement, and Christ-centered hope, you'll be strengthened to face life's challenges with confidence, resilience, and the assurance that God is with you every step of the way.

The loss of a pregnancy or infant is a deeply personal grief that can leave you feeling overwhelmed, isolated, and unseen. Whether your loss was recent or many years ago, this support group offers a safe, compassionate space to share your story, process your grief, and connect with others who understand. Through biblical hope, gentle encouragement, and supportive conversation, you'll find comfort as you navigate the journey of healing—knowing you don't have to walk through this loss alone.

We offer this group to see people freed from the issue of alcohol, drugs, food, gambling, anger, jealousy, relationships, cigarettes, or anything that is challenging for you. No matter what you are struggling with, we want to help set you free. We are using The Life Recovery Bible which points to God himself as the primary source of recovery. You will discover the healing power of grace that comes from sharing with and listening to others on the same journey.

Find help and healing for the hurt of separation and divorce. Divorce Care is a friendly and caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You’ll gain access to valuable Divorce Care resources to help you deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life. Divorce Care group participants spend time as a support group discussing what was presented in that week’s video seminar and what is going on in the lives of group members.

It’s impossible to be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature. In this 8-week course people learn to slow down their lives to cultivate their own deep relationship with Jesus and stop living off the spirituality of others.

This mixed-gender group is designed to bring encouragement and hope to family members, spouses, or friends of an addict. It will challenge your thinking about addiction and enable you to set personal boundaries in a biblical manner.

Having a family member who struggles with a serious mental illness can be stressful for those of us who love them. But we have a God who has the power to heal all of our diseases and can fill our hearts with HOPE. Join others who can understand, pray, and walk alongside you as you seek to be there for your family member on a lifelong journey that often has no end in sight.

Attendees MUST be present week 1 in order to be a part of this group. This group closes after week 1
Emotional, domestic, physical, and sexual abuses are an evil that deeply harm. The impact of that harm can include how we think or feel about ourselves, God, and how we interact with others in relationships. The healing journey starts with giving a voice to the abuse you survived. This group is for those seeking a safe space to start having a voice or those seeking to continue naming the harm.

Yes. If you would like spiritual support or prayer today, we have a pastor on call each day. Just call our direct line at 630.485.3300.
Yes. Your privacy matters. Everything shared is handled with care and confidentiality within appropriate legal and ethical guidelines. You can feel safe to be honest and real in this space.
