CAMP COMMOTION

Camp 2025 will run in St. Charles/South Elgin from June 2 - August 1. Our regular hours of operation are 9am - 4pm.

COST: $170 a week (for 9am-4pm)

Extended care is available in the morning and afternoon at the following rates:
AM - (7:30am - 9am) is $45/week in advance, or $10/day drop-in.
PM - (4 - 6pm) is $45/week in advance, or $10/day drop-in.

We want every child God sends our way to be able to enjoy the fun camp offers. If you have a camper with special needs who would benefit from additional support, we want to partner with you to help your camper get the most out of the camp experience.

Please complete the survey below to provide us with information about any additional supports your child may need while attending camp. Our Camper Support Director will reach out to you prior to the week your child attends camp to confirm any necessary support.

At Camp Commotion, kids can choose from over 20 different activity options, creating a unique experience each week. We call these activity options 'crews' and children can choose one crew to participate in each week. Not all crews are available each week. Below, you can see a list of the 2024 crews, a sample daily schedule, and more to see the types of offerings at Camp Commotion.

Arts & Crafts
Campers can unleash their inner Picasso in this crew through a variety of arts and crafts projects, utilizing a range of mediums in creative ways.

Beyond the Bricks
Campers will dive deeper into buildings and do all sorts of things! From 3D pens, to kinnex, and legos, your camper will truly build it all!

Build It
In Build It!, campers will use a variety of materials to construct some incredible projects using wood, glue and much, much more!

Cheer
Learn the basics of cheerleading and have fun with friends developing and performing a variety of routines.

Commotion Olympics
Wacky, high-energy sports and team spirit are what this crew is all about. Campers will learn cooperation & teamwork, as they strive to become the Camp Commotion Olympic champions!

Culinary Creations (1-3, 4-6, NO ALLERGIES)
From appealing appetizers to delicious desserts, campers can experience an introduction to the basics of preparing & serving food and, of course, sampling their own creations.

Friends Forever (1-3, 4-6)
Campers in Friends Forever can expect spa treatments, special crafts, pajama days and a fantastic time with friends. The perfect choice to sign up for with your best friends and to make some new ones!

Game On
Come on down! You're the next camper in, Game On Campers will jump into live action board games, apps, and participate in awesome game shows!

Great Outdoors (1-3, 4-6)
Campers in this crew will enjoy outdoor adventures in grilling, assembling tents, outdoor exploration and more as they journey into nature around camp.

High Octane (1-3, 4-6)
Get your excitement up with this high-energy, fun filled experience of indoor and outdoor activities, including epic hunts, laser tag, and much more!

H2O
Get ready to make a splash! H2O is a water-filled adventure that will see campers engaged in all kinds of activities involving water from unique relay races to a dunk tank! Swimsuit required daily.

Lights, Camera, Action (1-3, 4-6)
This crew is a movie-themed extravaganza! From start to finish, campers will have a hand in making their own short movie, honing their acting skills, and learning more about cinema!

Pumped Up PE
Campers will pump up the PE games! Matter of fact, they will be able to play all day! Campers will become the PE teachers themselves and create a day of fun for each of the small groups!

Mad Science
In this crew, campers discover the fascinating world of science while having fun making messes, testing crazy experiments and saying, “Awesome!”

Maximum Sports
Play fun sports, test your abilities and have a great time competing with friends old and new in a wide range of traditional sports, such as basketball and soccer.

Mix It Up (NO ALLERGIES)
Why choose one crew when you can choose them all? In this crew, we take the best from many of our other crews and mix them together for one jam-packed, surprise-filled week of fun.

Randomania
In this crew, campers will spend the week with fun activities based on a variety of different themes, all completely random! Campers will participate in activities such as traveling to the wild west, up up and away in space, and more!

Superhero (1-3)
Campers in Superhero will have a blast spending a week immersed in the superhero world of costumes, crime-fighting (don’t worry, parents - no real crime will be fought) and capers!

Top Secret
Campers will become special agents conducting a top-secret investigation. By collecting evidence, analyzing clues, cracking codes and more, campers in this crew will need to work together to solve a puzzling mystery!

World Tour (4-6, NO ALLERGIES)
Ever wondered what life is like across the world? Now you can find out! Whether it's cooking up an authentic regional dish or belting out a national anthem, this is the perfect crew for the budding traveler.

The Camp Commotion cancellation policy has changed for 2025.
Please note that cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled camp week start date will not be eligible for a refund. We strongly recommend that you review your plans carefully before confirming your reservation. If you cancel 14 days or more before the camp week start date, you will receive a full refund minus your nonrefundable deposit of $60 plus the amount of the $7 credit card processing fee (you will receive a $103 refund for a 5-day week or a $69 refund for a 4-day week).

If you cancel less than 14 days before the camp week start date, no refunds will be issued. This policy is in place to help us manage our availability and ensure a smooth experience for all of our campers and their families.
