UPCOMING EVENTS & CLASSES
Financial Peace University (FPU) is a practical, biblically-based course from Dave Ramsey, which is designed to help you learn to handle money God's way. The lessons cover topics like eliminating debt, saving and spending wisely, and how to give like never before.
Enlist a partner to help make a plan for your money.
If you find yourself wondering where all your money is going, if your debt is growing instead of shrinking, or if you find yourself asking, “Does my spending accurately reflect my heart and values?” … a budget coach may be a solution you didn’t even realize you needed.
Christ Community’s free budget coaching ministry makes it simple to connect with a partner who can help you meet your goals. Our coaches can provide a one-time review of your budget, expertise and encouragement to help you gain some traction in the budgeting process, or an ongoing accountability relationship.
Thoughtful estate planning can wisely steward the resources God has entrusted to your care.
My Legacy Planner (MLP) is simple and secure. No social security number or bank account information will be requested. It is a confidential online tool that allows individuals in all circumstances and stages of life to review options related to creating a thorough and thoughtful estate plan.
If you are interested in any types of Planned Legacy Gifts please contact Larry Stratton, at email@example.com or 630-485-3336.
There's giving and then there's tithing.
Giving is exactly what it sounds like. It is when you give any amount of money as we pool our resources so we can carry out God's mission together as a church family.
So what is tithing? The word "tithe" means "tenth." A tithe is when you consistently give 10% or more of your income to the work of your local church. Tithing is God's baseline for committed followers of Jesus. It is a way of saying, "God, everything I have comes from you and belongs to you. I want what I have to be used for your purposes." Practically speaking, when we all tithe, it ensures that we can continue to do all the things God has called us to do. But, best of all, over time, the practice of tithing turns us into the joyful, openhearted people we want to be, because it makes us more like our generous God.
There is a full Christ Community positional paper on tithing available at the information counter of all campuses.
