The Problem
Poverty in the area surrounding our campuses ranges anywhere from 10 to 20 percent, which leads to many who are in need of basics many of us take for granted, like shelter, food, clothing, and community.

The Solution
The needs are great, but God is greater through each of us stepping in to be the church. Connecting the followers of Christ to partners locally, we hope to demonstrate true Christ-like behavior by providing food, clothing, safe housing, recovery programs, and job training.

Administer Justice

Christ Community's Gospel Justice Center provides legal services and counsel for the vulnerable in our communities. It supports those needing assistance once a month at the Streamwood Campus.

Lazarus House Dinner Team

Lazarus House provides safe shelter, food, and a range of support services for men, women and children in need of help in Kane County. Christ Community mobilizes a dinner team that serves the third Thursday of every month. For more information or to join our serving team, click the link.

One Collective Winter Shelter

One Collective is a global non-profit that works in communities making sure no one is invisible and everyone has access to food, freedom, and forgiveness. Locally, One Collective operated a winter shelter from December through March. To serve with One Collective, visit their website.
