If finances are stressing you out, you are not alone. Real help is on the way. Beginning in September, Financial Peace University is a life-changing 9-week program that takes the knowledge of the Bible and turns it into real action in our lives through a simple step-by-step process. The program includes practical lessons to eliminate debt, build wealth, give like never before, and much more!

The next regular session of FPU begins in September. Find an offering that fits your schedule for the fall session. Are you between the ages of 18 and 29? Read below for a special 4-week offering just for young adults.

YOUNG ADULT 4-WEEK FPU SESSION

Mondays August 4-25 | PLUS: August 24 Learning Lunch
In the month of August. Christ Community is offering a four-week abbreviated Financial Peace University class for young adults only. This class is designed for ages 18-29 and will be held on Mondays from 7-8:30 p.m. at Christ Community Church, St. Charles/South Elgin. The course will cover the subjects of budgeting, debt reduction, wise spending and saving, wealth building, and generosity. There will be an additional session on August 24 with a panel of professionals to discuss insurance, real estate, and future financial planning. Join other young adults in learning effective practices for this aspect of our lives.

ASK YOUR PASTORS

Our next Business Owners Breakfast will be on Wednesday, August 20, at 7:30am, in the Hub at Christ Community Church St Charles/South Elgin Campus, and we will have the special opportunity to hear from and ask questions of new lead pastors Eric Ferris and Clayton Keenon. We would love for you to join us!

Eric and Clayton will discuss “how do we as leaders deal with disappointment, discouragement, and loss?”

In addition, you will have the opportunity to submit questions the nature of which you would value a pastor’s perspective. Eric and Clayton are seasoned leaders and, as we know, have a gifted ability to apply God’s Word to everyday situations. We’d love this to be a time of addressing real questions and hearing from God through our leaders. This is a great time to come, meet other business leaders, gain new perspectives and be encouraged! This breakfast is our expression of gratitude to you for what you are doing in the community, in your customers' and employees' lives, and in our church. So there is no cost to you. We will begin at 7:30am and conclude promptly by 9am. Feel free to invite a friend.
