We give thanks that SNAP benefits are being restored for many who are in need, and we praise God for the churches and communities stepping into the gap to care for their neighbors during this time.

Please pray for immigrants who are working toward citizenship and are facing the loss of important assistance programs, including food support and medical coverage. Pray that they will experience provision, stability, good health, and strong community support as they navigate these challenging changes.

Please pray for my friend, Margo, who has been fighting cancer for two years. Now she has a severe infection with inflammation that has paralyzed her intestines and she cannot keep fluids down either. After three CT scans – her bowels remain physically clear. But she needs nourishment! Please pray for comfort, treatment and healing.

Please pray for my sister, Lynn, who will be having major mouth surgery a second time on December 10th in Columbus, OH for tongue cancer. The cancer is back after three years so she will have the surgery again, PLUS she will most likely undergo a jaw reconstruction. as suspicious tissue also overlies the gum line. Her specific prayer requests:

– Better postop care at this hospital than the previous one

– No further nerve damage to her face

– Her ability to speak, which is already a struggle from the last surgery, will not become worse

– No complications such as infection

– The grafts will remain healthy

– For her husband as primary caregiver for strength and encouragement

Please pray for my nephew John’s friend Kyle. Kyle is family to us.

Kyle had brain surgery to remove a small tumor. He is very ill and needs constant care. It is taking him a long time to recover.

John is taking care of him.

Both Kyle and John need your prayers to open their hearts to Jesus.
