We are still waiting for biopsy results. We ask for prayers of patience and hope during this time. That the news would be good but that we trust in God’s grace through it all.

We are also having some sickness going through the family that we could use prayers of rest, sleep and restoration to health again.

Lynn is home and she sounded really good on the phone! Her tongue and mouth are still swollen, so pray that improves so speaking can be more clear. She will have the feeding tube for a couple of weeks still, but she is allowed to try tiny bits of food. She needs a lot of rest, rest, rest. God has gone above and beyond, but please continue praying! Thank you!

I am in my second trimester and ask for prayers that my baby and I are healthy and safe. Please pray for calmness and peace over my mind, strength and protection over my body, and that the upcoming anatomy scan shows everything is perfect. Please pray for my husband’s cousin, Luke. His cancer has returned and is more aggressive, with recent scans showing it spreading in his brain and spine. He is now experiencing severe seizures.

Luke is only 19 and just starting college. Please pray for God’s peace, comfort, and presence over Luke and his family, and that they would feel Jesus’ love and strength during this incredibly difficult time.

Drue Campbell

Update on my husband, Dave’s PET scan for a spot on his lung. The scan was full body and the results showed he has Pancreatic cancer. We are in shock at the unexpected news. The surgery is to be scheduled ASAP. Please pray for Dave to feel God’s love and presence through the procedure(s), that it was caught early enough to be cured and for a great surgeon. Also prayers for our grown children as they process the news.

Update on Lynn, postop day 7:

Please pray for:

– Trach tube to come out today (Wed)

– That the doctors won’t discharge her too soon

– Strength for Tom, who will be learning how to administer her feedings

– Coordination of all therapies at home

– Continued healing of grafts and harvest sites

Please pray for Connor – He is only 30 years old and will be undergoing quadruple bypass surgery this Friday. It came on suddenly. Doctors were concerned his tissue was too damaged to even operate but thankfully they received results today indicating he can still go through with surgery so asking for prayers for him and his family.
