A coworker’s stepdad was involved in a very serious accident Friday night. Has several life threatening injuries. Please pray the Lord is with the medical team treating him. And also for my coworker TJ who has alot he is dealing with right now besides this.

Dear Church,

Thank you for all the prayers for Courtney and baby Jackson in the womb after successful surgery for spina bifida! Courtney was released from the hospital recently and the new goal is for her to carry Jackson until a C-section on October 1st instead of September 18. They are both doing very well! Courtney’s mother, who is my dear friend in Maine, sent this report:

“This past week was one of the best. Prayer has turned everything into hope and positive results. The ultrasound yesterday was the best. The amniotic fluid is now at a safe level, and Jackson is moving a lot more.”

The mom of my best friend has cancer and I found out yesterday, the chemo is no longer working. She is like a second mother to me, and I ask for prayer for her comfort, as well as healing for her son, her daughter, and her family as a whole.

Please pray for healing for our daughter-in-law who was hit by a car while walking across the street in a cross walk. She fell and landed on her shoulder which is giving her quite a bit of pain. Thankfully, no head injuries or broken bones.

Praise God for the salvation of a sweet old couple, Bill & Joy, that our team had the opportunity to serve through Samaritan’s Purse disaster relief this past week. Their basement was flooded to the ceiling and had to be gutted. As we worked throughout the day there was always a team member sitting with them, listening to their stories, sharing our stories. We shared the love of Jesus with them and prayed out at the end of the day. The following day the Billy Graham chaplains were able to go back and meet with the couple again. Yesterday, our team lead received a text from one of the chaplains that they, through this entire ordeal, became aware of their need for a savior and prayed to put their trust in Christ. Please pray for them as they begin their walk with Jesus, while also continuing to put things back together from the flood.

My daughter has terrible insomnia. She had seen some relief, with a whole week of restful sleep, but the cycle seems to be beginning again with two nights of no sleep. This causes her great anxiety and distress and impacts her ability to care well for her family. Please pray that these cycles will end for good. Her sleep was much better with your prayers – thank you – please continue.
