Hands & Feet: What Can I Do?

We’re in the third and final week of a series called Hands & Feet: Serving the Vulnerable. God’s Word challenges us again and again and again to care for needy people. To roll up our sleeves and get physically involved in meeting their needs.

Now, the problem with this challenge—as I’m sure you’ve realized—is that we’re surrounded by scores of vulnerable people every day. Their needs are overwhelming. How can you or I—as one person—really make a difference? And where do we begin? And even if we help a single individual—what about all the needs of all the other people that are still going unmet?

Jesus addressed questions like these in one of his most famous parables: The Parable of the Good Samaritan. Turn with me to Luke 10.
