Do you hate your job? Some of you who are listening at our four campuses today—or you’re watching this sermon online—you hate your job.

But even if you like your job—even if you love your job—I’m willing to bet that there are certain aspects of your job that you don’t care for. There are parts of your job you’d rather do without. Right?

OK. Here’s the BIG IDEA we’re going to draw from God’s Word today—write this down at the top of your outline: God is using my job to make me into the person he wants me to be. Repeat after me: God is using my job to make me into the person he wants me to be.

We’re in the second week of a 4-part series, called: Job Change. And the reason we’re calling it Job CHANGE—is because God wants to change the way we look at our work.

Here’s the change we’re considering today: Some of us see our jobs—or the negative aspects of our job—as tearing us down. But the truth is—God can take what’s tearing us down and use it to build us up!
