Christ Community Church is one church with five campuses in the Chicago suburbs. We strive to be a great place for you to meet new friends, be cared for, serve in the community, study the Bible, and discover God's plan for your life.
If you are new, please contact us at 630.657.8129 and we'd love to connect with you more. We hope you'll join us this Sunday at 10am. We can't wait to meet you! Have questions? Contact our Campus Pastor, Cory Shumate, at
There is a place for you at our Streamwood Campus.
A Brief History
We launched as the fourth campus in 2011, meeting at the Bartlett Community Center. Three years later, we moved to a location on Stearns Road in Bartlett. In November 2016, Christ Community adopted Lamplighter Bible Church in Streamwood. Leadership of both churches chose to make the old roller rink building near the corner of Bartlett Rd. and Streamwood Blvd. the new home for the Streamwood Campus of Christ Community Church.

What You Can Expect on Sundays
Each weekend when you walk through our doors you can expect to be welcomed by staff and volunteers who are excited you are there. We work hard to make Christ Community Church a church home for those who are looking for one. If it's been a long time since you've been to a church, we are confident that you won't regret giving us a shot. Feel free to dress casually. Our Sunday service, designed for anyone 6th grade and up, is centered around contemporary worship songs and Bible-based, applicable teaching that is video broadcasted from our St. Charles Campus. Each weekend service lasts about 80 minutes. You can learn about our current teaching series and find resources here.
For kids 5th grade and younger, we offer our incredible KidsWorld Ministry. New families can quickly register their children and drop them off in an age-specific classroom that includes fun activities and Bible lessons designed specially for them.
While in the building, masks are required at all times for everyone age 2 and older. Masks will be available at the entrance for those who do not have them. Registration for in-person weekend services opens every Monday at 10am.
Doors will be unlocked 20 minutes before the service (4:50pm & 8:50am) and guests will be encouraged to go directly to their seats.
No outside food or drink will be allowed into the building. Cup o’ Joy is closed indefinitely, and water fountains are unavailable. Small bottles of water are available for free after services.
Offering will not be collected during the service, but cash and checks can be put in the drop box by the office or people can give online.
Singing is allowed, so each family group will be separated by 10 feet. To ensure social distancing, seating is no longer available in the lobby or Cup 'o Joy. The sermon will only be broadcast in the Auditorium.
Communion takes place the first full weekend of every month. Communion elements are individually packaged, sealed, and are all gluten-free.
The best way to connect with others from our campus beyond Sundays is by participating in a Community Group. Check out a list of available offerings here.
