VISION, MISSION & STRATEGY

God wants us to bring his name, his message, and his ministry to all nations (Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 1:8). Whether it’s praying, giving, or going, we provide a number of strategic opportunities for people to get involved, finding their purpose in Christ through the mission and learn more about God’s mission for the nations. If you want to make your life count for something significant, we will show you how! Let’s have God-sized faith and believe that the Holy Spirit will use us to change this world for His glory!

VISION

MISSION

The assignment we’ve been given to reach the vision…

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

Everything we do has an aspect of discipleship.  Evangelism, growth in our faith-filled obedience to Christ and worship of God are purposed and measured in all we do.

STRATEGY

Our specific strategy to be effective in the mission…

In the nations, we believe in working directly in partnership with Indigenous Ministries for overall long term impact, unity in the larger body of Christ and the richness of cross-cultural relationships whenever possible.

We mobilize the people of Christ Community Church mainly through the sending of short-term mission teams that are well trained, led and launched in support of our partner ministries.

Our strategy is lead by volunteers with staff support and are the environments where we continually labor with urgency depending on God’s power.  We are continually assessing our effectiveness and seek to work with excellence.

GOALS

In Christ Community Church-

Ongoing, we seek to keep the church informed and encouraged to pray for our partner nations and ministries through regular communication and leveraging corporate gatherings. .  We want people to gain a heart for the nations and exercise their authority in Christ through prayer.

Ongoing, we proactively provide large, organized giving opportunities to advance God’s work globally.  We want see a large percentage of people become generous toward the nations while funding our partners well.

Ongoing, we want to mobilize 10% of the all people from middle school and older on GO Teams to our partner countries.  We want to see every adult travel at least once every three years on a GO Team and we’d prefer our teams to be 50% first-time team members.

In the Nations-

In tandem with our ministry partners, we seek to see large numbers of people submit their lives to Jesus, grow in their following of Christ and plant new churches within our targeted regions globally. All of this while serving the needs of people, demonstrating that we are transformed, children of God. Contact us for more specific goals per ministry partner/region.
