Love Your Neighbor

Canning Hunger

Canning Hunger is a program that enables families to collect food in their neighborhoods, build relationships and help feed the hungry. This is a one year commitment, visiting your neighbors 3-4 times a year to collect donations and then dropping them off at a local food pantry of your choice. Canning Hunger allows you the flexibility to choose collection times yourself. It also provides a great opportunity to serve as a family and get youth involved serving their neighbors.

Canning Hunger kits, complete with doorhangers, helpful how-to information, and other information about the Canning Hunger program are available for purchase at your campus' Information Counter. Kits are $10, complete with DVD.
