GIVE SHOEBOXES, JOY & THE LOVE OF CHRIST
CHANGE A LIFE WITH A SHOEBOX
Be a part of changing children’s lives worldwide through a simple gift with Operation Christmas Child. A shoebox is the first gift many children have ever received, and the treasures inside allow them to experience God’s love in a tangible way.
Pick up a free cardboard shoebox while supplies last at your campus' KidsWorld. Shoeboxes can be dropped off at designated tables in KidsWorld and your Atrium or Lobby by NOVEMBER 12
Online Shoeboxes
A great option to share with friends or family that may not be able to pack a shoebox in person or if you miss a drop-off deadline. Visit our virtual shoebox page linked below and follow the directions.
PACKING YOUR SHOEBOX
PACKING YOUR SHOEBOX
STEP 1: See the “How to Pack a Shoebox” brochure or check-out instructions here. Choose whether your shoebox will be for a Boy or Girl and choose an age category.
STEP 2: Pack a standard-size shoebox. Plastic shoe boxes work well because they can be reused for gathering water or supplies, just make sure they are of good quality. Wrapping the shoebox is optional – if you do, please wrap the lid separately and rubber band securely.
STEP 3: Fill the box with various age-appropriate gifts (see below). Gifts must be new. Remove packaging for the convenience of the recipient and to free up more space. Feel free to send a note or prayer to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with a hurting child.
STEP 4: A suggested donation of $10 or more dollars help cover shipping and other project costs. Donations may be combined for more than one box. There are now THREE ways to include a donation for your filled shoebox:
1) You can use the envelope on the brochure and enclose a check made out to Samaritan’s Purse for $10. Place the envelope into the shoebox.
2) You can use the included self-adhesive label and pre-pay for your box using the provided QR Code. You can then track your box as it travels to the child who will receive it.
3) You can pre-pay for your shoebox online and print a label at the link below.
STEP 5: Place a rubber band around your shoebox and drop it off at a designated table at your campus by Sunday, November 12.
STEP 6: Follow your shoebox! If you donate online or through the QR code, you can track your shoebox. Click below for more label information.
