RIDE FOR HOPE: RETURNING 2027
Our annual virtual cycling event is currently taking a break. We are incredibly proud of the miles pedaled and the funds raised to support survivors of sex trafficking, and we look forward to continuing that mission together soon.
Ride for Hope will officially return in the summer of 2027. Thank you for your continued heart for the vulnerable!
WHY WE RIDE
Commercial sex trafficking isn’t something that happens in other towns and neighborhoods. It happens in our towns and neighborhoods. And 70% of the victims are women and children. Traffickers prey on the vulnerable and lonely, using any means they can to trap victims, causing feelings of fear and helplessness.
Christians are called to help the abused and vulnerable. That’s why Christ Community Church and Community Impact supports Naomi’s House through the annual Ride for Hope fundraiser. Naomi's House's Reset Program offers drop-in services, emergency support, therapeutic groups, and case management to help survivors begin their healing journeys. This year, a new Reset site has launched in Kane County, expanding access to much-needed resources. Funds raised will help grow the program to serve even more survivors, including the addition of a day program.
This year, local churches Elan Church, Harvest, and Common Good, are joining Christ Community for the ride!
ABOUT NAOMI'S HOUSE
Ride for Hope proceeds go to Naomi's House and their Reset Program in Elgin. Since 2020, Naomi's House has been laying the foundation for a Reset location in Elgin by connecting with the community, local police, and probation departments and doing outreach. Outreach enables Naomi's House to connect with people who are being trafficked for sex right now, build trust, increase safety, and connect them to the resources they need.
