WEDNESDAY NIGHTS
Students in grades 6–12 gather on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:15pm throughout the school year (August 26, 2026 – May 5, 2027) for Refuge.
On their first night, every student is placed in a consistent community group with the same leader, organized by age and gender. These groups meet weekly, giving students a reliable place to belong and grow. Friends and new students are always welcome.
Most evenings include time to connect, teaching, worship, small-group discussion, games, and student cafe with items for purchase. Doors open at 6pm for pre-service hang-time before program start and students are welcome to socialize after program until 8:30pm.
All middle and high school students are in the building at the same time, yet we offer three concurrent programs shaped for different stages:
• Grades 6–8
• Grades 9–11
• Grade 12 - Focused on preparing students for life and faith beyond high school.
The groups will engage in student lead worship, developmentally appropriate biblical teaching and community group time with their assigned group.
Whether your student is new or returning, we’d love to welcome them into this community of faith and friendship.
No Refuge Dates: November 25, 2026 | December 23, 2026 | December 30, 2026 | March 31, 2027

SUNDAY MORNING MIDDLE SCHOOL SERVICE
Middle school students in grades 6-8 are invited to Remix during the 9:00 service. Remix is designed to be a developmentally appropriate weekend worship experience just for middle school students. Similar to what happens in the auditorium, we gather for worship and Bible teaching, but since we are doing this for middle schoolers, we throw in a lot more games than they do in the Auditorium! No need to register, just show up and bring your friends! Students are permitted to check in at the Hub as early as 8:45.
SERVE THE NEXT GENERATION
The mission of our church is to make disciples who are belonging, growing, serving, and reaching. Volunteers are integral to discipling students.
STAY CONNECTED
To stay up to date on all things that are currently taking place in Student Ministry, including resources and content that we will make available to parents and students, make sure you sign up for the following things:
Refuge Cell Phone Policy
To help students fully engage with God, Scripture, and each other, we ask that:
📱Cell phones are put away during worship, teaching, and small group discussions.
📱 Students bring a hard copy NIV Bible and paper for notes rather than using digital devices. We're happy to provide Bibles or help students purchase their own if needed.
📱 During hang-out time, students prioritize face-to-face interaction over phone use, though phones may be out during this time.
