What if every child had a home?

This is Zane Isaiah – God’s Gracious Gift

Baby Zane

Austin and Ashley Newcomb have been very gracious and open about sharing their story of how adoption has changed their lives.

“The LifeSong Fund has been such a blessing to our family! We raised, saved, and were given money toward our adoption for the 2 years we waited to be matched with a birth-mom. When we were finally matched we quickly found out that the state she was from required several different lawyers and social workers and we didn’t have the funds we needed. We reached out to Christ Community Church and filled out the required paperwork for applying for a LifeSong grant. We were thankful to find out we would be given the amount we asked for. LifeSong helped us with the final state of our adoption!”

God had His hand on the entire thing! Ashley wrote in her blog in April, “I have had a boys name picked out for almost 2 years and we were texting with the birth-mom this week about names and she sent me that exact name! Of all the names in the world, we both separately thought of the same name! And even cooler the name means ‘God’s gracious gift’.”

Sweet Zane Isaiah is now almost six months old and loving his older siblings Caiden (11), Kylar (9), Elijah (7) and Tinley (5).

Christ Community Church walks alongside families that are looking to foster or adopt children that need care and love. Through adoption and our partners with SAFE FAMILIES and THE FORGOTTEN INITIATIVE, the church has been helping meet this enormous need. Christ Community Church provides financial grants for those interested in forever changing the lives of these vulnerable children.

You can read more about their story on their blog, NEWCOMB JOURNEY, as many people were following them during the adoption process.

Also visit Christ Community Church’s VULNERABLE CHILDREN website to see more about our efforts. There are thousands of children waiting to be adopted!
